Champions League Draw: Quarter-Finals

With Barcelona and Bordeaux joining the previous six qualifiers in the hat, the stage is set for the Champions League 2009-10 knockout stage draw in Nyon on Friday at 12:00 CET.

Goal.com will bring you LIVE coverage of the draw as it happens, complete with the facts on the ground in Switzerland, where we'll hunt down the latest news for you.

But first, let's look at how the draw will proceed, and who's involved.

Process

At this stage of the Champions League there is no seeding whatsoever. It is considered that all eight teams have done enough to earn the luck of the draw. The eight in question, in alphabetical order, are as follows:

Arsenal
Barcelona
Bayern Munich
Bordeaux
CSKA Moscow
Inter
Lyon
Manchester United

Each team will face one of the above in a two-legged contest to be played on March 30-31 and April 6-7, 2010, with two matches per night.

Also drawn on the same day are the semi-finals and, obviously, the final as well, so each team's path to the last game in Madrid will be plotted out in its entirety.

Remember to join us LIVE at 11:00 CET (10:00 GMT) for our build-up to the big moment, which begins at 12:00 CET. Also, right afterwards is the Europa League draw, the entrants for which will be known on Thursday evening.
